This is a senior level course for Supervisors whose staff will undertake the Certificate III in Operational Works. Each of the participants will undertake the qualification themselves. The purpose of the course is to assess current competence in order o award RPL where justified by evidence and to offer additional training and assessment where necessary. The course will additionally offer the supervisors the opportunity to "fine tune and customize the course to be delivered to their own employees over the coming year.

The Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) reflects the role of employees in Local Government who perform a broad range of skilled applications including the requirement to evaluate and analyse current practices, develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices and provide some leadership and guidance to others in the application and planning of the skills.
To complete this qualification, you are required to complete 6 Common Units and 6 Specialist Units.
